The language school with more than 50 years of experience!
Since 1958 ih Heidelberg – Collegium Palatinum, the language school for German as a Foreign Language, has provided German courses at all language levels all year round. The school is authorized testing centre for telc Language Tests and TestDaF. In addition, we offer intensive preparation courses in which we train our students successfully for taking telc and/or TestDaF examinations.
We do not only offer standard language courses but also study- or job-specific programmes. Participants can choose to either join a group of international students or learn German in an individual session. Our language training strictly follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching.
In addition, we provide a cultural and leisure programme making you more familiar with the German culture and way of live and creating lots of opportunities to test your language skills. We also arrange accommodation during your stay in Heidelberg.

Heidelberg – cultural and leisure programme
Our culture and leisure programme complements the language classes: it allows students to immerse theirselves into the German way of life and culture; and at the same time to consolidate their language skills. The diversified cultural programme entails: guided tours in Heidelberg, excursions to other cities, visits to German companies, wine tasting, visits to museums, concerts and theaters, sports activities such as bicycle tours or volleyball, etc.
