TestDaF is a language examination for foreign learners of German who want to study at a German university or obtain a proof of their language competence level. TestDaF is officially recognized as an entrance examination to German universities.
Location of examination
The Collegium Palatinum in Heidelberg is an official TestDaF test center
Prerequisites:
1000-1200 contact hours or language competence level of advanced German.

Registration procedure for TestDaF:
1. Filled-in and signed TestDaF registration form
2. Signed rules for examinees
3. Copy of passport or identity card
4. Proof of the payment of the TestDaF examination fees
TestDaF-Advance Test
Advance test for TestDaF candidates - no exam fee
This advance test will help TestDaF candidates to evaluate their proficiency skills and to estimate their chance of passing the TestDaF exam successfully. This test consists of two subtests- Reading & Listening - and a TestDaF Institute questionnaire.
Date: January 30, 2008 Duration: circa 2 hours
Registration;: TestDaF registration form + copy of passport + € 15 examination fee
Test result: 6 to 8 weeks after the test, based on the score of items achieved. Candidates with unsufficient score should register for a TestDaF Training Course.
