ih Heidelberg - Collegium Palatinum is an authorized telc test center. Exams takes place at the school.
Prerequisites:
If you
already have a good basic knowledge of German, telc Deutsch B1 - Zertifikat
Deutsch or telc Deutsch B1+ Beruf are the right exams for you.
The telc Deutsch B1 - Zertifikat Deutsch is recognised as proof of sufficient
language competence for a German citizenship application. It tests general language
competence.
This language exam you can normally take after an average of approximately 600 contact hours, or lower intermediate level.

What can you do at level B1?
At level
B1 you can communicate in a simple and connected way in everyday situations,
while travelling and when talking about topics that are of personal interest.
You can describe experiences, hopes and ambitions and give reasons for
opinions. On the whole you can use the most important grammatical structures
correctly.
What does the telc B1 - Zertifikat Deutsch testify?
The telc Deutsch B1 language
test proves the ability to master important situations requiring the
spoken and written use of the language. It shows the knowledge and
skills to be able to follow and actively take part in everyday
conversations, both in private and job-related contexts. It also proves
the ability in understanding and expressing written opinions on a wide
range of texts.
telc Deutsch B1+ Beruf:
telc Deutsch B1+ Beruf is an exam for professional purposes. The level is a little bit higher than Zertifikat Deutsch / telc Deutsch B1.
What can you do in work-related situations at level B1+?
You
can communicate in a simple and connected way in everyday situations
related to your job. You can talk about your responsibilities, your firm
and its products. On the whole you can use the most important
grammatical structures correctly.
